The group was formed in Oakland, California and consisted of three members, Terrible T, Sweet LD, and Lil’ P. They were known for their energetic performances and catchy rhymes, as well as their signature style of wearing baseball caps, baggy clothing, and high-top sneakers.

Terrible T (born Stacy Adams) was the primary rapper of the group and was often referred to as the “female LL Cool J” for her smooth flow and hard-hitting lyrics. Sweet LD (born Sheila Escovedo) was the group’s drummer and provided backing vocals on their tracks, while Lil’ P (born Phyllis Charles) was the group’s dancer and hype woman.
